What Oil to use for a GTI 1997?

Hello everyone again,

I know you guys are a great help so hence me firing all my questions this way.

I'm looking to get some more oil for the SKi but due to my location (Cardiff, South Wales, UK) i cant find any real dealers to get some off. All distant sellers are saying they can't post it for hazadous reasons which i can understand. My local Marine store said they had what sounds like a generic PWC oil, so not specifically designed for my ski.

Can anyone advise of whether this would be ok? or companies in the UK willing to post etc?

Just get some quick Silver PWC 2 stroke oil. Its what I use in my 97 GTI and my 97 GTX...make sure the front of it says PWC.

Thanks again Rampage, Sounds similar to what the local marine store is offering.

Anyone else know of a UK based company that will post oil? If the above isnt correct i'm thinking of plan B.

We can make this easy. Your ski needs an API-TC type oil. (JASO-FC, Low ash) If you see a TC-w3 logo... or saying "Outboard Engine"... OR, Ashless... then don't use it.
