Amsoil interceptor one of the best after XPS.... but I personally use and love Mystik JT4 full synthetic api-tc. .. can get it locally, made by Castrol and similar MSDS to XPS breakdown. .. 5+ years both premix and injection without any issues.....
I would stick with the Interceptor, as stated it is great oil. If you switch brands you will need to drain the tank and lines and change the oil filter. You can't mix two different brands.

The mechanic at the dealership told me to get the synthetic brp oil in a yellow jug and add it to the tank with the interceptor oil
He said as long as they are both synthetic you should be fine
That is not correct. Different brands use different additives and you have a very strong chance of them turning into a gel and plugging the oil pump.
The seadoo XPS full synthetic is just as good but do not mix them.
If you change oil you need to drain the entire system and change the oil filter.
Remove the oil filter and drain it from there and replace the oil filter.
Or use a transfer pump to remove most of the oil from the tank then again replace the filter. Then once you replace the filter and refill with fresh oil pull the bleed screw on the oil pump till fresh oil flows out.
Next start the ski and at idle hold the oil lever wide open to force pure oil into the injection lines. Then you are good to go.
Thanks buddy I will attempt this project tomorrow, funny thing I opened the seat searching for the oil filter with no success, I'm sure it's hitting under something there.
