What gauge is missing?

I Purchased a 1995 sp a few months ago and I notice there is a gauge size hole in the front hood with nothing in it. Wasn't too worried about it cause it ran great. But now I'd like to put what ever gauge was there before. I looked under the hood and didn't see any loose ends or wire connectors hanging loose. Was there even a gauge there or a blank plate. Anyone know what gauge goes there and what it connects to? May be a part number... Thanks

What gauges are there? I'm just guessing, but I think the Tach. was optional on your ski, so that's probably the one that's missing. If you want to replace it you'll need to buy it used, try this site or EBay.

On the SP... there wasn't anything in that hole from the factory. Other than a plastic cover. You could install any of the "Option" gauges. (Speedo, tach, depth finder, fuel/oil)

There is no other gauge there just the hole for the one.

I know gauge preference would be different for everyone but which would you guys recommend or think most important. Where would it connect? Would I have to tap into the harness?
