What do you suggest for insurance?

I am buying a 97 Challenger, and set up a full coverage insurance on it to go into effect before I drive it off the "lot". Does Progressive quote of $212 per year sound like a good deal? This was their recommended package...

That's a pretty good rate. I had State Farm and those bast**** wanted here in Florida like $1200.00. I have the progres... company for my Speedster. I dropped State Farm. Everyone I know that has a boat can't beat the coverage or the price of Progres...I have extreme insurance...300 300 and 400 thousand not the basic 10, 10 and 20 thousands.

cool! I have it set up so when I get to the boat, and pay the balance, I just call them and give them my debit/credit card number, and I am insured before I drive away:hurray:

I also use Progressive to insure my 2 Sea Doos and my SeaRay boat. You can't beat their price. Fortunately, I haven't had to turn any claims into them yet... :hurray:

I have a 97 GTX and an 05 RXP and the total monthly premium for both is around $44 through Progressive. They were considerably cheaper than State Farm (as mentioned above).

$212 a year is pretty good. What are the coverage specifics (deductible, damage $, etc.)

I just read your post and could not believe how cheap insurance was. so I called my insurance company progresive and I got only 3500 on boat and 50,000 per person and 50,000 property damage. 100,000 total. It cost $150.00 per year with 500 deductable. :cheers:

My quote was for 50,000 person/100,000 accident bodily injury 50,000 property damage.

50,000 person 100,000 accident uninsured. 5000 each person medical.

Roadside assistance included, and 500 on-water towing.

1000 deductible.

DAGNABIT!!! no coverage for fishing equipment...

I use Boat US for my insurance for my 08 rxtx and its 400 for year.
