I have looked at images and searches on here and I still cant figure it out what carbs are in my 95' 657x gtx. 38? 44? type 1? type 2? and can I get some help with somes links for good priced carb rebuild kits? and what size needle and seats for the carbs that I have? guys thank you so much for your help

I guess whats messing me up is the 38's im looking at online have that triangle (yeild sign shape) were it connects to the airbox. My carbs on my 657x,the shape were it bolts to the air box is the same shape as the carbs base at the intake manifold. does that make it a type 2 style? DH thank you for your input.

Im new to this so everybody bare with me . Im a bowl carb outboard guy not to many experiences with diaphram carbs. so I ordered my carb kits (sbn38 kits) and none of the 44 or 38 pictured scematics match my carb description. can any body give me a break down or schematic of my carbs so I can get these carbs back together. thank you so much for your help in advance. My ski is a 1995 gtx 657x.

As before... they are just normal SBN's. The only difference, is yours are mounted "in-line" and not in tandem like most are. the "38 schematic" should match up just fine.

If you get onto Mikuni's web site... you can down load the SBN manual.

Be sure to get rid of all those grey fuel lines while your in there. Id hate for you to rebuild those carbs and keep those grey lines.

don't know why they went away from the in line carb mountings, seems like a much easier way to keep the carbs synced up and simplify linkages...

fellas thank you for all the help. I bought some guinuine mikuni rebuild kits and replaced needle and seat with new. I also replaced the fuel lines with GATES non inject fuel lines, cleaned fuel selector, fuel filter element, cleaned tank, replaced vent lines and vent check valve. its been a very satisfying experience working on this ski myself. I like tackling projects like this so i know what i have and i get to know my machine.
