I have previously posted a question on this forum, but have not got any replies, so I will try again with some more info on my problem.

I had the check engine light come on, and at this point I have had it with this 02 gtx ltd. Without finding a code at first I have changed the rear oil sensor, front oil sensor, since then I found out how to read the code on the water and found that the code is p0116. OK, we look up the code, and I get the new engine temp sensor and change it. My first question is: I was told that when I changed the p0116 sensor I was under the impression that I would see antifreeze coming out of the hole where the sensor was plugged in, but there was not any coming out so I am not sure if I was under the correct impression...any thoughts? I changed the sensor and what do you know the check engine light came back on after a short ride...anyone have any idea what else it could be? Not into this machine for a lot of money so worse case I pull the plug in the lake and go get a YAMAHA, If anybody has any input I would really appreciate the input.

There's a rubber water line from the pump to my exhaust. right around the sensor...close to the water box. With the ski outa the water...disconnect...blow air back to the pump. A friends ski musta had something clogging the screen in the pump. After blowing on the water line...re-attached....fired up...no codes.

Give it a try.

Thanks so much for the reply and guidance, I really appreciate it....gonna take the ski outa the water this week and give it a try!

Sounds like you could actually be overheating check that you have proper floe no hoses clogged and are you leaving the flush hose adapter in the rear of the ski? That will cause low flow and overheat

Kozerxp ty for the input, I will check the hoses this weekend I hope. The only thing I keep in the back of the ski is the rear rope to tie off to the dock and that sits in the plaistic bin. thanks for your response I will keep this up to date.
