I have the green color hood on my 96 GTX. I'm having a tough time cleaning the water spots. I tried vinegar, tire shine, good fiberglass wax but they keep re-appearing even before it hits water. :willy_nilly: I just used Armor-All today to see if that helps.
Any ideas?

I use MER polish, dunno if you can get it in the states but i dont have that problem, hope this helps :coolgleam:

BRILLO...i don't think so....sorry

gtx....mer is not available in the states. Next time you visit bring a few cases with ya.......thanks

I used brillo pads on my hoods they cleaned up perfect were fadded and had spots. Now they look new and I usually just wax after every time.

brillo pad is WAY to slow. A belt sander with some 60 Grit will have those spots gone in mere seconds!

some of my bombardier letters started to peel off the hood so I just took em all off, but you can see where they were cause the rest of the hood is a shade lighter from fading. :(
