Water in the hull

I bought two 97 seadoo xp's and am having trouble with one when I ride it for 30 mins it fills the back with water. I have changed the carbon seal but is still happening when I hook water to it and run it there is no water leaks. I have put it in the water on the trailer and run it and no water shows up, only after riding it does the water show. The water is warm but that could be from being around the exhaust and engine. so kinda stumped here.

There is no such thing as a 1997 XPS. Is it an XP or a SPX?
Is there a little water in the hull or a lot? A little is normal.

If you have run it on the hose and there is no water then try running it with it still attached to the trailer in the water. You can also try filling the footwells with water and see if they leak into the hull.

I have two xp and the water was up over the shaft took 5 to7 minutes to drain and I've run it on the trailer with no water but I will check the footwells to see if that could be the issue. thanks dint think about them.

Ok, 1997 XP, got it.

Also do you have the white plastic tub that goes under the front hood and over the engine? Without it this hull will take on a lot of water.
