Water in the foot wells

I use my gas leaf blower to blow the water of the foot wells with I'm done washing my RTX

The new covers have mesh vents on the side to let the thing breathe in changing sunshine.
I have the same on pictured above. They allow a small amount of water in during good rain. They also let out humidity during hot spells so not much should remain (unless you live in monsoon territory).
