Took the 2005 challenger out for the first time and forgot to put drain plugs in, I know bonehead move, so the check engine light came on and when I realized what it was jumped in the water put the plugs back in and noticed a little white smoke when we throttled up. Wondering how big a deal and what could have happened to engine, I flushed it and rinsed bilge area and engine with fresh water, any tips? F*&ing rookie mistake!

How is it running now? If it is normal and there isnt any residual water anywhere, I would consider it fine and your lucky day.
