Water connection for hose.

I have a quick disconnect for the end of my water hose and have male threaded ends for it. Yesterday I ran both my skis on the hose for a few minutes to test them out.

I also left the ends installed in the flush inlet. These ends are small in diameter than the tube but are free flowing. Is there any reason to remove them? Seems to me it would be handy to just leave them in and then I can hook up hose and flush them much easier.

Thanks,
Don

I remove mine. Just felt it was the better thing to do. Plus, water does come out that port on some ski's while running. I didn't want to alter the flow.

If you have a manual, take a look at the cooling flow chart. I think you will find that water does exit the fitting. If that is the case, then I would not restrict it.
