water above pistons

1996 GTX always ran good. 1 day would not start. Pulled it up On lift out of water, had the spark plugs out. Turned engine over and shot water out of the spark plug inlets. Dont know how it could have gotten there. Ob viously has water in the crank case. Finally got it started {out of the water on the lift}. Ran it for a few minutes several times to cook the water out of the crank case. Don't know if there is a gasket leaked, or some water got back in from the wet exaust manifold.

Did the ski see freezing weather this past winter? Something could have gotten cracked.

while on the lift, hook the hose up to it and run it, turn on hose slowly after it's running. It could be lots of things but this will probably show you, check for leaks but it may only leak internally like from the exhaust pipe back into the engine.
