VTS problem??? My seadoo was taking in water and my VTS quite working. The fuse was blown for the VTS system so I replace the fuse and tried it again. Fuse didn't blow but the trim system still did not work. Discovered a hole in the rubber boot on the back so my VTS system had gotten water in it. I replaced the boot and put in a brand new trim motor. After connecting everything back together, the VTS system still will not work. Does anyone know what I should do next to solve my problem???? Please HELP!

Do you have a meter?

If so, test for voltage at the motor while working the switch. I suspect you will not have any based your post.

Go to the switch itself and unplug it, test for continuity. Should have no resistance when in the UP or DOWN position. If you have no resistance, the switch is good. If it has no reading (aka open, like if the terminals were touching nothing but air, thus no reading).

Plug it back in, check for voltage coming into and out of the switch. Should have it coming in at any time the ski is running or powered up. Should have it leaving the switch on the two wires while rocking the switch either up or down.

Do the above and let us know what you come up with.
