Used 2008 gtx155, 1st time buyer, have questions

A friend has a sea doo gtx 155 2008 getting ready for trade in at local dealer, may offer to me for same amt dealer offers, 2700.

Here are a few things of note.

It has sat on boat lift with cover entire life but pull the cover and it looks like new and it runs perfectly. I drove it for 30 min and seems to be perfect with one exception, the gauge cluster is pretty faint. I can see the numbers but they are very light. Pwc has 75 hours, has been serviced and adult owned and operated, not kids.

Idea of value, seriousness of gauge cluster and in general, is this model relatively reliable or not? Thank you

buy it, an engine alone is more expensive than that.

The GTX ski and the 155 engine are very proven. I would be shocked if you were not happy with the purchase.

i had 70 hrs on my 2014 gti 130 when i sold it and never a single issue. The new owner rides with us every weekend. I would not hesitate.
