Hi all,

recently picked up a 2016 gtr 215. Has some damage to the seat would say some board shorts or something alike has leached colour. Anyone dealt with anything similar before or have any reccomendations before seeing an upholsterer

My 2011 Seadoo GTI has the same thing. From what I researched they used to put fo some kinds of chemical like arsenic or formaldehyde in the vinyl but due the obvious reasons they stopped costing the vinyl and this has been the result. It is actually some type of bacteria or mold and the discoloration is result from these organisms. Not much you can due to clean it, replacing it seems to be the only fix.

Agreed. It's a known issue with SeaDoo seats. After I replaced my seat cover with blacktip brand, I didn't have the problem.
