Jet Pump Compatibility

Hello, newbie here and I did not see any threads about this certain situation I have. I have a 2000 Sportster 1800 boat, and it has a broken jet pump after being backed into some huge rocks. I have not been able to find a replacement anywhere, or I just don’t know where to look or what to really search. I did find someone selling a 2001 Challenger 2000 super cheap due to having no engine and generally not dealt with for years, but it does have the jet pump on it which looks in fine shape. Does anyone know if these are compatible? The pumps look the same from the picture, but that doesn’t really mean anything, and I don’t want to drive an hour away and spend money for something that won’t help me.

Check your favorite online Mercury dealer for part numbers. Matching numbers for different engines should work for you. You will need your serial number.

Check eBay.
