U-clamp on the bow has come loose, how do i tighten?

Hi again.....please let the wealth of knowledge flow once again!

My U-clamp on the bow used to hook the winch strap onto is loose. How do you tighten it? I removed the three bow seats and the back cushion in the bow and none of them seem to open up to the hull so I can get in there and fix it. Removing the bow light is my only other idea, but that seems like a very small entry to get down into the hull to where the U-clamp is.

Any ideas?

you could do like me....drill a 5" hole under the bottom front seat cushion that will be covered when the seat is back in place. then you can reach your hand in there. mine is a 95 speedster though...not sure exactly how yours looks.

I hope that isn't my only solution to tighten that U-bolt ! There has got to be a way to get in there, right?!

Going though light would be first as you stated. otherwise bring out hole saw
