So I have a GSX 951 limited. I was wondering what fuel I should be getting. I hear that at marinas they don't put any additions into the fuel. If I run automotive fuel is that putty my engine's reliability at risk? I want to run this thing for as long as possible. I'm using mystic lubes low ash two-stroke oil.

thanks

If you can get ethenol free gas at 87-90 octane get it if you don't mind paying a little more. The closer to 87 the better. Otherwise, use 87 regular 10% ethenol and put in marine stabil ethenol treatment each fill up if you don't run it much. If you run it regularly through the season, just run the 87 regular without the treatment then start adding the treatment as the season nears the end.

I dont have anything lower than 94 near my area... what would that mean for me if I were to use 94

94? Where are you. Are you sure they aren’t using a different method to measure octane?

We cannot see the column headings in that screen shot but those do not look like octane values.

Connecticut uses standard octane ratings like the rest of the country.

The ones you posted are race gas and is not what your ski takes.

Your ski only requires regular unleaded which is 87 octane and non-ethanol is best. Using higher octane will do nothing but drain your wallet faster.
