Type of gas do u run?

Just wanted to ask around and see what octane of gas people run in their bikes. I really wanted to know what they run in 657x. I have been running 87 but I was thinking switching over to 93 and see if that changes anything. Anyone have any problems or could help me thanks.

Hi,

Your ski was made to run on 87 octane, but since most gas contains ethonal you should run 89 octane or higher. I usually run 89-93 octane in both ski's. That being said I do buy gas at the marina and it's 87 octane and the ski runs fine.

I run mid grade now... and use Marine Stay-bil in it a few times a year.

I wont put any less then 91 in mine. BUT, I prefer ethanol free fuel, and I run about 157 compression.

i usually use 87 and will do 89 every other time or so, Its def not cheap anymore to go out and have fun expescially with gas at basically 4 bucks a gallon

I run ethanol free gas, a few stations in my area carry ethanol free 93 octane fuel, so thats what I run.

We still have ethanol free gas available in KY, I usually use BP 91 octane.

4/gallon! I wish. Premuim here is OVER 5/gal. Regular is not far off.

WEll some say yeah. Really I donno. Everything I own, sled, car, truck and seadoo all require premium. My car has to have 94. So I dont even see the sign at the gas station. I pull in, look at the pump, laugh, and carry on. haha.
