In the manual it say if you rollover the XP to roll it back clockwise. Then it says if you roll over the XP to tip it 90% counter clockwise before starting. What gives?
First time out we ran it for about two hours when the low fuel light came on. Is this about all I will get out of a tank of gas, two hours?

Look for a sticker on the back if the ski. It will be upside down. Which,,, will be ions used right if the ski is upside down (aka rolled over).

The sticker will state which direction to roll the ski.

2 hours is not bad. A 96 xp will only last 45 minutes at wot. The slower you ride the longer it will last.

I would not like that at all.. I am use to riding at the very least 5 hours. With my GTX I can go all weekend. Both the Polaris skis I had would also last a 3-day weekend.

Guess I am spoiled a bit. My RXT-X can suck the fuel if I am out there riding hard, but even then I still get 4-hours before I hit 1/4 tank.

Yes but how big is your tank on that yacht of a seadoo. Xp has 9 gallons. Yours probably has the fuel capacity of a light duty truck lol.

Yep I agree, 2-stroke SeaDoo's are not known for great gas mileage, but with a 9 gallon tank, it makes for short rides. Some guys have installed larger tanks, a 12 gallon tank from a 96GTI will fit, with some trimming of the storage bin.

Just follow the directions on the back of the ski for righting it, if your sticker is gone get a new one, it's not real easy to go back and refer to the manual when you're out in the middle of the lake with an upside down ski.

I can't argue the size of my stuff....

I just looked it up, it is 15.9 gallons. Guess that would do it huh???
That said, in most cases after 2-hours of serious riding I have averaged 5.7 gallon used. I only run 93 octane. That may have some affect as well..

We only use premium, but here is a 12 gallon tank in a x4 hull. You also need longer tank straps, a longer fuel baffle and a some fuel tube.

Ok guys, bear with me. There is only one sticker on the rear of my xp. It does not show the unit upside down with an arrow showing which way to right the unit. It has a picture that shows to tip it 90% counter clockwise from an upright position "AFTER A ROLL OVER" before starting. So which way is the correct way to turn it over if its upside down?

k,if the ski is UPSIDE DOWN,turn the ski so the carbs go UP,so on ur 95xp(i have the same ski)from behind the ski, with it upside down,u will turn the ski CLOCKWISE to right the ski.if u go the other way it will scoop water into the engine.
now if u think about it,the sticker on the bak of ur ski does the same thing,if the ski is sitting correctly in the water and u turn it like the pik says,,,CARBS GO HI.

Look at it this way.

Stand behind the ski and imagine the whole exhaust pipe was filled with water. Then imagine it was flipped over and all that water in the pipe is now at the lowest point which is in the exhaust manifold and very close to going right into the engine's exhaust outlet on each cylinder. If you roll it over the wrong way all that water is going to go right into the engine and you can almost guarantee that one piston will be down and let all that water in.

However, if you roll if over the right way, all that water will go back into the pipe and away from the exhaust ports.

At least thats how I figured it out.
