Just a newb here looking for tips on how to ride these things. Im new to the seadoo world. I own a 2008 rxp 215. Although its a lot of fun, im just wondering what im missing out on. Any experienced riders have any tips on defferent tricks and stuff to make this even more enjoyable.

all i do is hit waves, push the trim all the way up and punch the throttle over and over doing the "dolphin" and burnouts lol.

theres gotta be more to do with these things.

any daredevils have any tips or tricks to tell me about, id love to try some new stuff.

and no i dont want to attempt a hair pin turn at 70mph lol.

The newer ski's are not as much fun to just mess around with as they are larger, heavier, etc. You just can't do the same type of "tricks" with them. My '98 is a blast to ride as you can do a lot more trickin' with it like full throttle spin outs/360's. My RXT-X would never do that.

One thing you might like is getting yourself some buoys and setting up yourself a little course on the water to race on. Try to beat your best time, make a slalom course, that sort of thing.

Otherwise, look to invest in an older ski like a 90's XP or SPX. That is exactly what I did, with a '98 GSX Limited and a 2011 RXT-X.

I would also be interested in hearing what other do to entertain themselves on the water.
