Took ski for test run and got CHECK ENGINE on the cluster.....no codes stored?

Just took the ski for a test run after a wear ring replacement and it sitting for a couple months. Started up and ran fine but it displayed check engine on the cluster shortly after startup. When I got home and checked the codes (DESS on, hit set 5 times) it doesn't show any codes. All it says is end.

Any suggestions?

Candoo Pro or buds will/can pull historical codes. Without one of those, you won't be able to see what the computer sees.

Not all codes are stored. For example, exhaust over temp fault is not stored, once the temp drops to normal, nothing is indicated and nothing shows in Candoo or BUDS.

Hmmm....I'll take it on the lake again tomorrow and try to check codes as soon as the CE trips. How else can I troubleshoot this?
