Greg,
Along with region member locator how about a "post delete" option. there were a couple times i wanted to delete a post after i sent it off.


members...good or insane idea???

We have decided to stay away from the ability to delete posts for quite sometime now. We had the ability years back and members were upset after getting their posts deleted when they didn't want them to be. If you have any posts you want removed you can message it to me :cheers:

OK, I meant that only the "poster" (or you) could delete his own post.

The problem was the original poster would delete his post then the whole thread was deleted because of that. I can look into deleting individual posts though.

I really don't think this is necessary. We already have the ability to edit the post. If posts are deleted it could ruin the continuity of the thread.

Users should not have the ability to delete.

I personally feel that the forum is working pretty well the way it is. The worst thing we could do is make it complicated. Lets just follow the KISS principle (Keep It Simple Stupid). It appears to me that the only people that are complaining are the newer members. Myself, and I think most of the guys that have been around for a while have no complaints.

The administrators are doing a great job, thanks and keep up the good work.
