For those of you who know what I have and what I have done to it, what is a good sale price?

I have a friend who is interested, and don't want to rip him off, but don't want to give it away, either.

If it's in nice condition, on a single trailer... the buddy/good guy price would be around $1500.

Locally I see them go for $1000 (beater) to $2000 for a mod'ed XP on a double trailer.

Yo Scoop...go 1750 w/trailer, and if he doesnt bite, part it out... I need the motor.

What is that engine worth to you?

I was going to ask $1000 for the ski and trailer (recently added new axle, bearings, etc.) but you are all saying to go higher. I didn't know these were worth that much.

Considering, I paid ZERO for it to begin with.

We are selling our house and moving closer to fresh water. Where we will live, we have a private boat launch shared by the neighborhood. If I drag something to the water, it will most likely be the boat so several of us can use it.

I can see keeping the XP if it doesn't sell, and a second person dragging it down to play along side those of us in the boat. But otherwise, it likely won't get much use.

It is much more fun jumping waves at the beach, than it will be on smooth lake water.

I didn't realize you got it free.

If you have a buddy who wants it, and you feel $1k is a good number... then sell it.

If you are selling it on the open market... $1500, but it's worth more as parts. The engine will get you +$600, the trailer is $350, the MPEM is $150, gages $65 each, $100 for the pump, $70 for the hood, $70 for the seat... and so on.

Did this buddy help you out often? That would be a deciding factor for me, and if you take payments that payment plan can be a pain sometimes when something goes wrong even if it is obvious as hitting the dock.

He is a neighbor and fellow beer drinker. We help each other out all the time, and borrow each other's tools, etc. I would expect cash up front. He has it.

The ski runs too good to part it out, even if it is worth more that way.
