this is the 2nd 717 engine ive seen that lost a wrist pin brg( some of u may remember the gti that we borrowed n blew up,and rebuilt)
def goin to need topend,a cylinder,ill get a crank for it(no reason not to have the peace of mind),i think i can clean up the head(what do u guys think), was thinkin send it to fullbore,295 for topend with bore n gaskets,
hey racer,,u have to be the crafty-ist inexpensive parts finder on here,,can you point me at a good rebuilt crank?
ill go pull the motor out n check the rotary valve n cases n post more

i dunno.im pretty handy with carbs, so i think ill stick to the stock setup.dont wanna spend a ton of extra dough.but ya,the gti we borrowed ran good with a 717 single carb,( in fact i remember the gti ran real good,cant wait to ride this one!),and the 92sp single carb ski rips.



well,its all together! runs pefect,(on the stand)did have 1 issue at first start,oh and for you cold state guys,sorry,havasu should be in the 90's saturday!
