Another oil survey

http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/cBgGzOPNG9VPwSE5wtbqakyEQzD0EtBtl_aTpguKKVc?feat=directlink

I was at a Seadoo shop the other day and the head mechanic said he only uses 2 stroke semi synthetic oil. Full synthetic oil was too gummy / sticky on the engine.

Also he said they have 55 gallon drums of the Seadoo brand Semi synthetic and if you bring in your own gallon containers that they will fill it for $20 a gallon.

So who uses SEMI, and who uses FULL

thanks uncle jay

Depends on the boat

Remember, Sea Doos come in 2 stroke and 4 stroke varieties, with Rotax and mercury engines.

However, I use only Amsoil or Sea Doo oil, since 1995.

The 20 bucks a gallon to fill the jug sounds like a bargain. Wish my local dealer offered that. I always use quicksilver full synthetic.

so you use the black gallon of Quicksilver... right RF? For $20, it is the seadoo brand Semi Synthetic ... simular to the grey bottle of quicksilver.

Yeah I use the black full synthetic from Wal mart and it runs 38 a gallon. For the 20 bucks a gallon on the xps blend I would switch if I had that price.
