Hi, recently i bought a 2001 Sea-doo GS. When i brought it home I bought a new battery for it and it started well. It didn't went on because it didn't had gas. That very same day I put fuel on it and when i touched the start/stop button, nothing happened. It only makes a click sound but doesn't cranks. Did my starter broke? Or do I have to change the starter solenoid? Please help me!

Did you try charging the battery?
Most times a new battery needs to be charged before use.
It may have had enough juice to turn it over for a short time only.

Give the battery a fresh charge and try again.

Have you operated it since you bought it? some known history is a big help. Do you
remember anything the seller told you that you could tell us?

Yes, I used it, and as far as I can tell it has no mods. It ran well when i used it. The battery is fully charged but still doesn't cranks. When I put the DESS it beeps and when i touch the start button it doesn't do anything. It only makes a "click" sound that comes from the box that contains the starter solenoid.

Any idea? I'm thinking 'bout the starter.

We are on vacations on my country. please help! lol

Starter. I had the same problem. I just replaced mine with a starter from SBT. $100.00. Everytime you hit the start button does it click, like the starter is trying to engage?

clicking during startup

Both the starter & battery should be load tested to rule one out.
