Start/Stop Button - 2 Stroke

So one of my jet ski has a beaten up start/stop button. From looking online the part number for the 97 GTI and the 2000 GS are different, and the GTI is showing at $85 with the GS at $36.

Well, from the "pictures" the look like the same dang button. So here is my question, does it really matter which start/stop button I use?

Check eBay I got my button for my 2000 xp for like $15 shipped if It's the little round one I seen them for $5 and free shipping

Are you talking about the actual switch or the little red piece in the housing? OR...the Whole housing with the little red button(and not the switch)

I have it...what ever part you need.

Sell, on the GS it feels like the red button cover and the button behind are worn out (hard to push.) The GTI is getting almost as bad as the GS.

So, the little red cover to the button and the button itself.

Pull the housing apart and then try the switch....I bet its fine. So all you would need is the button cover. I would buy that new as it has a little nub on it to push the center of the switch.

there are many places that sell replacements cheap.

Bought two button covers on EBay @ 4.95 each including shipping.

The button covers are only like $1.50 at your local dealer.

Nah, my dealer didnt have any in stock and the buttons were $5 each there also.
