Start Button Replacement - Need to be OEM?

The start button seems to be acting up and I need to wiggle the button around to get the engine to crank. Pricing out an OEM replacement makes it almost a $100 part - which is a little crazy for a silly switch! (I realize this is a boat, but come on!)

Does anyone know if you need to use the OEM switch or if you can replace it with a water proof momentary switch that you can get for $15 at the marine store

Yes... the button can be replaced with an aftermarket waterproof button.

Thanks Tony. Two local jet skiers were trying to tell me it's a special switch that needs a special resistance...
