My engine compartment isn't so "clean", has a nice amount of grease and oil laying around. I sprayed degreaser around the back where there are no cables or anything important, worked wonderful. Before I sprayed the front end (near the engine) is this a good idea? I used degreaser on my car engine and a friends with no prob, can the seadoo engine handle it? Thanks.

Just spray it lightly so it won't penetrate any electrical components or the intake system. Rinse it good with low pressure. You should be fine. Spray everything down with silicone spray or wd-40. let it vent dry.

Sparyed everything nicely, I'll say the degreaser took off about 80% of the dirt and grease, everything else I'll have to do it by hand.
