I have 1996 Seadoo GSX and the left sponson is broken. I have searched high and low but with zero luck.

I am wondering if there is somewhere else I can look for new or used parts? Or is there another model with a similar hull that is can use?

Part number is 292000495 (taken from seadooparts nation)

In advance thank you for your help.

Any of the gs models will fit.

Mine was broken on my 97 and I picked up a set from a 98 GSX Limited. They actually are shaped a little different with slightly more agressive "lip"

When looking around. I saw a few sets on ebay. I painted mine so I wasn't worried about color

Seems kind of pricy just to replace a missing one. Are you trying to gain something with the aftermarket ones? Minnetonka4me should have one. He has several GSX parts skis.

i just looked on ebay, I was shocked at the prices they were asking, I just dumped two gsx hulls with the sponson's on them, seems fkng crazy that they are asking $40 for them !

I have searched high and low for new and used with zero luck.

I could care less about the aftermarket performance but this is the only replacement solution I have found so far.

Looking for some help finding a used or new OEM option.

I did PM minnetonka4me but he only has right ones.

Thanks for the help everybody.

Pm Jetskigoodies he might have one.

2 mounting holes have stress cracks
Maybe you can put some epoxy or glue to strengthen them....

I do have some right now as well, those gsx sponson break all the time, I think they need reinforcement pieces like the gtx has. I now take spray foam and fill the empty cavities then take a razor and cut the foam flush with the sponsons before I install them this gives them a little more support.

I had a crack in one after riding, the next day the crack turned into a dorito shapes hole, the next day it broke in half.
