spi 787 1997

Hi all
got my eye on a 1997 787 spi. needs the engine rebuilt but thats no big deal for me to do. It looks exactly the same as a 96xp 787 but with out the vts and other digital guages. can anyone tell me the exact diffrence between the spi and the xp?

There wasnt a 97 SPI...only 96 and older...is it a 97 sp? or is it a SPX?

the SP and SPI of those years had a 720, not a 787.

second thoughts i wont bother a 720 is to small for me. thanks anyways.
