I notice a new sound ("whieeee") when starting my Speedeter 150 from 2011. Starting works normal except that sound. I'm pretty sure this sound didn't come before.. Anyone having experience or theory? Not a clicking sound just a whieee.
I don't want to run with it on a day trip and have the starter failing me on a remote place. Have dual batteries and the boat has been restored to a next to new condition this winter. Even took the starter apart and PTO cover as well. Bendix looked good I remember.
