I've been searching the forum I just got new NGK plugs & saw the gap should be from .20 to .24 for my 97 Challenger 1800 Twin..
I know .04 isnt very much but what is the manufacture specs? Or "preferred" gap

Thank You :)

Thanks again karl
Ok did a compression test on both engines 150 straight across both engines woot..! New plugs all around gapped to .022 ( split the difference ;) ) lol

But now my idle is way high @ 3000rpm as soon as they fire up..
Shall I just turn idle screw down so idle around 1000rpm? Should this be done in water or on trailer..

Thanks again
