Spark Plugs

I pulled the plugs on one of my skis today and noticed that its running pretty rich. I was going to replace them and was wondering if there something that I'll have to order or if they can be gotten at the local auto parts box store? The Ski is running fine with out any issues but just to be a little on the safe side out on the water by doing a little PM.

If your local parts store has NGK, then they will have them. (BR8ES) If they don't have NGK, do not let them sell you anything else. Yes... they can cross reference the plug to a different brand... but NGK is the only plug that will run well in a 2-stroke engine.

Spark Plugs: NGK BR8ES Gap/ 0.5-0.6mm or .020-.024in.

On a 94 GTS isn't the plug a BR7ES? Is there an advantage to going to the BR8ES?

Sorry... Yes, you have a 587 engine. use a "7".

what about br8eya plugs? i think the only difference is it has a v-groove electrode.
