my waverunner gets capsized and turned back rightside up the wrong way?

my sister was riding and flipped it. she said it was actually still running upside down till she yanked the plug. She flipped it and rode it home. not real far or high rpm at all. i asked her "did u flip it the right way?" and i was met with the deer in headlight look "huh?"

jus curious what kind of dmg if any i can expect if in deed it was flipped wrong. it didnt smoke of sound abnormal....yet.... dont sugar coat it either!

Thanks!

Ain't no wrong way to flip them nowadays. Pop the seat...dry any components. Carry on. Although...if your really worried about water ingestion...check for milky lookin oil in the motor.

It sounds like there is a chance of getting water in the oil.
Play safe and have it drained to change and inspected for water. If there is any, then you may want to consider flushing the oil a couple of times.

The fact that it is running, your are good to go as far as the engine itself goes.

Check for water in the oil to just to ensure there is none.

Check the electrical boxes for standing water. Spray the engine down well with CRC or WD-40 if you can't find CRC.
