Sold my Challengerlast Sat and wanted to thank everyone for helping me with questions and providing me with ALOT of very useful information about these boats. Our lake just wasn't very suited for jet boats and we decided to sell.
Thanks guys

We are looking at a Larson V-Hull boat tomorrow. We loved the Sea-Doo. It was a blast to drive and ride in but wasn't big enough for the college kids and their friends. Will miss the jet on nice calm days but we will get to use a deeper and bigger boat alot more.

we bought the Larson...it is a 174SEI with the 4.3 LX motor. Runs out at 52 with an aluminum prop. We are happy with the new boat but miss the Challenger. Pics of the Challenger and the new Larson.
Enjoy the larson. How is the bow rise and accelleration? I tested a 2008 Four Winns H180 with the 4.3 and found it has alot of bow rise and the thrust just wasnt like a jet boat(Or at least the Utopia 310hp package I had).
Bow rise is pretty bad but it comes on plane VERY quickly. Like 3 seconds from a dead stop to plane. Accelleration is just awesome, much quicker then the Challenger. Yes I have the carb'ed engine but it is the LX which is the high HP V-6
