Yeah, I saw it on the news down here in Alabama!.....it actually snowed in New Orleans last week

I lived in Portland for 2 years. That's one of the things I miss the most. Fresh powder on Mt. Hood (Timberline lodge)!...........oh, and the snow bunnies!

They say its going to start snowing tonight sometime and carry though the weekend. weather networks are callin it snowageddon I LMAO when i heard that on the news this morning....

We had it a couple days ago . Then it moved on to New Orleans. This is only the second time in 5 year. The last time gave us 18 inches that stuck for 3 days (christmas eve and day of 2004). On the 3rd day, we were back in shorts and T-shirts, but still playing in the snow and making snowballs and snowmen.

This time, it didn't stick except for a couple hours.

It was so cold here, today. Everything was a total white out. The air was hollowing, turning my exposed fingers almost frozen. My eye lids were almost stuck closed it was so cold. It appeared to be a total white out...a real freak of nature to have such conditions here. I quickly grabbed my frosted beer mug and slammed the freezer door while heading for my Beer Tap. Enough of that nonsense. :rofl:

I am not local to the Northwest but I am in the Northeast and we are getting 10-12" today. They are saying 1-2" per hour starting at about noon Eastern Time!

I live in the snowbelt part of ontario so we keep getting dumped on. but almost every snow fall has melted with in a couple days i think it stick around now though. your not far from where i live so were probably both getting the same storm...

Yeah we got 12" in Mass on Friday and another 6" yesterday!! I want warm and thawed out lakes though!!
