Silicone sealant

I recently checked/cleaned the back end of my exhaust on my 2005 seadoo 3d, and I was wondering what silicone seal to use and how much to apply on these exhuast tubes/resonator connections. Anyone done this before?

Anyone ever used silicone sealant on their exhaust? Basic rubber to plastic(resonators) connection.

I have not used this on the exhaust outlet, but I have used it on other hull penetrations. It's Loctite Marine Grade Silcone Seal, Dow Corning also makes a similar product. By the time the exhaust gets to the exhast outlet its not very hot so I would think that either of these products would work o.k.
