I just read a article that i should have a small ground wire that also connects to the negative side of my battery along with the thick black wire? Where would i look for this wire?
Your talking the black box right next to the battery? My buddy doesnt have the small wire on his 97 xp either but both our machines work fine. There is only one wire coming out of the rubber boot on top of the box and they go other places.
you'll notice, if you got the black wire, protruding out the top of the ebox (next to battery). Depending on yr/mdl, they had thewm, or they ran the "ground", back thru plug
