Unfortunately the shop that did some work didn't do as clean as a job as I had hoped. After finishing hooking up what I could figure out, I'm left with the following open items that I can't quite figure out.

First one....and I think this should be easy.
Where should these vents hook up to? I'm thinking some sort of bilge vent. Only one of them isn't hooked up...unfortunately I dont remember which one:

This plug is on the starbord side, directly where your rear end would go......

These two could be related and I'm missing some sort of intermediary harness. Directly under the dash, from the front of the boat looking back with the fire extinguisher cover removed

And possibly the worst picture I could have possibly taken. A little black box directly under the dash with two plugs/wiring harness coming off of it. What is it and where does it go?

Thanks everyone.

Hi & welcome.

1st picture the 2 vents....1 is probably a battery vent for the old time vented batteries....you shouldn't have one of these batteries, so just leave it blank. Look for a tube, that's just laying in the hull, if you want to. Other vent could lead to the gas tank. Look on top of the fuel baffle and see if any nipple is not connected to a tube. this lets your tank breathe into the open air instead of your hull.

Some electrical connectors are not used in all skis....so if everything works on yours then you are all set........but lets wait until some one else chimes in for those.

BTW, I would use some Super Clean or Purple power (let it soak in several minutes) and a brush in your hull. then take a hose nozzle and rinse it out.

seadoo doesn't leave electrical connectors just laying there unconnected, everyone goes somewhere. even the diagnostic connector has a cap. they don't leave connectors exposed ever.

I can answer all your questions but may need a little more info for some. 1st pic, the two vents are one for the battery and one for the fuel tank. 2nd pic, this harness looks to be in the wrong location, the only connector down there should be the speed/water temp sensor but that is only a 3 wire connector. I suspect this is your EMS power connector and should be up by your ECU. what are the wire colors? 3rd pic, looks to be part of your gauge harness but is it a 4 wire connector? and where does each connector come from? need wire colors. 4th pic, this is your DESS module and goes inline with your 6 wire connector dash harness.

you can download a wiring diagram which will be your best bet. you can do major damage if things are hooked up wrong and it is possible to hook things up wrong. it sounds like you need a new shop because they seem pretty clueless if they left it like that.
