Hey guys,

Alright so I've got a pretty weird problem here. After a day of running the jet ski out on the water, a bit of water collected in the engine bay. After hitting some wake the jet ski cut to low RPMs only, then stalled out. It still won't turn over. With the plugs out i manually turned the motor over to hear some pretty weird clunky/grinding noises coming from somewhere in the engine. Also, the starter has trouble turning it over and also elicits some nasty clunky/grinding noises from the engine.

This is a 1999 Seadoo GTI.

Does anyone have a decent idea of what the problem could be?

Are we looking at a bad bearing somewhere or something like a cracked piston?

Any help is appreciated.
