I have a 1996 gtx seadoo and when i try to start it it starts to turn over and then just starts to click. If i try to start it and give it some gas about 20 times it will eventually start. I have changed the spark plugs, battery, and put gumout carburetor and fuel injector cleaner in it and nothing has made it better. Any suggestions? thanks Keaton

When was it running last? Has it been in storage? What prep was done when you stopped using it? I have heard that you should NOT use carb and fuel injector cleaner. There are filters at the tank and in the carbs that may need to be cleaned manually. Does it have the dreaded gray fuel lines?

So your saying the starter is only engaging for a second or 2? Then you have a bad soliniod or your bendix is getting stuck. Try taping your starter a few times, but may just b that time to replace or have rebuilt. First double check all your grounds.

well... the way I'm reading your post... it's a classic bad battery. It may check good... or even be "New"... but when you put a real load on it, the voltage drops off.
