These boats dont have any strait lines witch can become a pain to keep from hitting the dock or seawall's. what kind of bumpers are you all using or what have you come up with. My profile pice u can see i have to use 3 LARGE bumpers so it doesnt hit the wall. But i need to find something for when i dock at the marina or friends cottages. Any ideas???

On my 200speedster, I use both holes and hang my bumper horizontaly just above the rub rail. I tie it off on both ends...The boat never rubs anything the the bumper.

Tried that today, worked good but i had to use two big bumpers that are to big to keep on the boat and with the small ones the center of the boat still hits the wall... I need to find a way to hook a bumper on the center but theres nothing to tie it to, anymore ideas?

I use three small bumbers. All tied to a rope which is just long enough to be tied to the front and back cleats. One bumper tied at the front, one at the back and one in the middle of the rope. Depending on the dock height I can adjust the tension of the rope so that the middle bumper is at the correct height. Works well for me.

Marina........

The marina at our River has pilings that are padded with fire hoses, that have been cut and tacked on.

At my house, I made a floating platform so my boat rises and falls with the tide to the platform. The platform takes the scratches from the bulkhead, not my boat..........!

I just park with the left side against the dock and tie one fender to the front, one to the rear and one to the grab handle inside the boat. The shape of the boat makes it a pain due to the center being so wide. Sucks because all the docks here have NOTHING on them, just wood with lag bolt heads everywhere- scratches the hell out of the rubber bumper on the boat, so I have to use that center fender or it gets pretty beat up .

They also make clips that you fasten to the side of the boat that you just clip the fenders to for easy install and removal. This way, you can position them wherever you want. Been thinking about installing them, but not sure I want to drill into the boat.

My doral came with thoughs but i dont want to drill holes in my boat, and i was thinkin about hooking one on the grab handle but wasnt sure if it would wreck it after awhile? Im in the middle of putting 2x4's on my see wall then im putting white rubber bumpers 3in wide 5 feet long on the 2x4's you can kinda see what im doing in my profile pic its the cottage with the small fishing boat. Thank for alll the good tips im going try them all out next week on the boat trip im taking.
