Seadoo Speedster ignition Keys

Good evening,
Could someone steer me in the right direction as to where to find a few spare ignition Keys. I have a 2001 speedster with the 240 mercury engine. So far I have gone to the local seadoo dealer, local mercury dealer and a local locksmith. No one has a blank key for this boat. I have one key but would really like a few spares before it goes missing or overboard.

There has to bee somwhere to but a an igintion key? The seado dealer said you have to but the whole wiring harness for $349.00. That is unbelieveable.

That does seem a bit odd that you can only get a key with the harness. Did you try to call a different seadoo dealer? I would try to call seadoo direct direct also. (715) 848-4957 This is the custommer service # for seadoo. Let us know how you make out.

I have a 2000 Speedster SK and Walmart carries that key.
