Hello, I just purchased a 1995 Seadoo Speedster 150 and wanted to start the engine with water running through as instructed, for flushing as well. Most of the videos I have seen show the water connection on the outside of the boat, near the jets. In my engine setup, there are two hoses with valves that appear to be for this purpose, already attached to the engine. I am not sure if the previous owner modified it this way. I attached a photo of the setup. I just don't want to attach water where it shouldn't go. If these hoses are for another purpose I would appreciate some knowledge. I attached a photo of the hoses and engine bay. Thanks.

I cannot confirm. But I do got to say that is some ghetto cob job fix of some sort. I would work on fixing that getting it taken out and put in the right way.
