SeaDoo SK 85hp Seadoo regular 110???

What is the reason for the difference? I would think the SK stood for ski and wouldnt you want a ski boat to have the most power posible?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am just starting to learn about these things.

yeah i found it kind of odd the ski model had smaller engines.
