I need someones opinion on this. I think I know what to do but never hurts to ask.
I got a used 2006 seadoo gtx std and the drab handle has some scratches on it and I want to get rid of them. IMG_0041.jpgIMG_0040.jpgIMG_0039.jpg
Any ideas?? I thought to sand it then spray it then a water proof clear coat but the only thing concerning me is that I dont want to ruin the texture.
Thanks
Ben

Texture is already ruined by the scratches. Only thing you can do is sand them smooth and spray them flat black. You lose the texture that way. If you want the texture then you'd have to replace them.

The texture is still there around them. So if I were to sand it and match the color, would it look different? Like a major noticeable thing?
Thanks

Mine had all the black plastic pieces scratched and faded so that was what I used. So far all is good. Best thing I can tell you is go to out tubrand search for plastic dip. I've used it on my truck too. Its fairly easy to use and can be purchased at Walmart or home depot.
