Last season I burnt the bearings on the rear connecting rod. This season, I have now placed an engine from SBT in the machine and once I checked everything and I was ready to attempt to turn it over for the first time, I got nothing. When I say I got nothing, I mean nothing. When putting the key on, I did get my two beeps.....so I am thinking that the computer is reading the key. However, the starter button.....nothing. I have checked the voltage with a multimeter and I have 12.8v at the battery. I push the start button and there is no change at the battery. So, I am thinking that I am not gettting a signal from the start switch telling the starter to engage. The only troubleshooting I have done was to check fuses. I had one bad fuse and I have changed it. Before changing it, I did not have the computer beeps. I have not gone any further, as I have had to go to work. I would like some input from you forum experts as to which direction to troubleshoot next. I was planning on using some cables to ground to block and to battery, then go from the battery positive terminal to the other side of the starter relay, to see if the doo turns over. From there I, if it does turn over, I can work my way backwards to the switch. Any other ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks...

It's probably just the solenoid. Grab a pair of pliers, and jump across the 2 large cable terminals. When you do that... the starter should crank. If it does, replace the solenoid. If it doesn't... check the cables, and the starter.
