What is a good oil other than seadoo oil for jet pumps

I've seen Klotz and Mobil1 Synthetic gear oil recommended on the forum. The Seadoo oil contain an additive to protect against minor water intrusion and detect it. I think it is best to pressure test the pump when changing or inspecting the oil to protect against water intrusion. This will test if the front oil seal and cone are sealed properly. Use a new o-ring and the recommended sealants when you change it.

do you know how I can pressure test it?

It's in your manual but basically pressurize the pump to 10psi through the oil fill hole and see that it holds pressure for 10 minutes.
